TSANZ 40th
Annual Scientific Meeting
June 18-21, 2022

Adelaide Convention Centre

REGISTRATION NOW CLOSED

We will be back in person for our traditional Meeting

Dear Colleagues

We are excited to announce that the 40th Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) of the Transplantation Society of Australia and New Zealand (TSANZ) will be a face-to-face meeting held at the Adelaide Convention Centre from June 19-21, 2022. However, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic which continues to disrupt travel, some of our international speakers will deliver their talks virtually.  For others who might be unable to travel, the ASM will be available on-demand 1 month after the conclusion of the ASM.

The TSANZ Scientific Program and Education Committee (SPEC) in conjunction with the TSANZ Council have prepared an exciting program, convened by Dr Michael Collins and Dr Sanda Stankovic.   The program focuses on recent advances and current trends in the field with presentations delivered by internationally renowned speakers and local leaders.

The program will also include:

  • A screening of the truly inspirational film “Burden of Genius” which captures the remarkable story of Dr. Thomas Starzl; and

  • The presentation of a range of awards, in person, during the Annual Awards Dinner being held at the Adelaide Town Hall

As with previous years, the Postgraduate course (PGC), convened by A/Professor Chien-Li Holmes-Liew and Dr Eric T. Son and the Masterclass, convened by A/Professor Chris Drogemuller and Dr Chanel Prestidge will both be held prior to the ASM on Saturday June 18 and on the morning of Sunday June 19 respectively.

This ASM provides a great platform for networking and collaboration. There will be ample opportunities for social engagements and activities, including the annual fun run and Early Career Researchers’ drinks organised by the TSANZ Early Career Researcher Committee (ECRC). We are confident that the return to an in-person format for the ASM and associated programs will provide attendees with a highly engaging, educational and fruitful experience.

We look forward to finally welcoming everyone to Adelaide in June 2022.
