For the first time ever, an Online Forum replaced our traditional Meeting
As a direct result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the 39th Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) of the Transplantation Society of Australia and New Zealand (TSANZ) was hosted on-line.
The TSANZ Scientific Program and Education Committee (SPEC) in conjunction with the TSANZ Council designed a state-of-the-art virtual program convened by Dr Eu Ling Neo and A/Professor Philip Clayton. The ASM featured internationally renowned speakers, complemented by local speakers.
There were opportunities for innovative networking and engagement, while ensuring the social aspects of the ASM were not overlooked, the details of which were available prior to the ASM.
As with previous years, the Postgraduate course (PGC), convened by A/Professor Chien-Li-Holmes-Liew and Dr Andrea Viecelli and Masterclass, convened by Dr Sanda Stankovic and Dr Tracey Ying was also held virtually prior to the ASM.
We are confident that the virtual ASM and associated programs rewarded attendees with a highly interactive, productive and fun event.
